Complaints and Grievances

You may communicate a concern or file a grievance verbally or in writing. You may speak with any staff member or contact the Oasis Grievance Officer directly.

You are not required to confront the person involved before filing a grievance. You may request assistance preparing your grievance.

A grievance should include, when available:

  • The name of the person affected.
  • A description of the concern.
  • Relevant dates and individuals involved.
  • The resolution or response you are requesting.
  • A safe method for contacting you.

Anonymous grievances are accepted, although anonymity may limit our ability to investigate or communicate the outcome.

Written grievances will ordinarily be acknowledged within three business days when contact information is available. Oasis aims to provide a response within 15 business days. If additional review time is reasonably necessary, we will explain the delay and provide an updated expected response date.
