Clinically, Matt tends to work from a Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) approach with strong elements of self-compassion (CFT) and strengths-based interventions.  He has been trained in various other modalities including DBT, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, relapse prevention and motivational interviewing.  Matt sees his role as someone who helps you find the solutions you need and work towards the goals that you set.  He looks forward to welcoming you to OASIS Counseling and working with you on the goals you have for yourself.
